Alliance Manager, Strategic Accounts

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Alliance Manager in the US to lead our efforts in managing and expanding relationships with key clients. The Alliance Manager will play a critical role in defining engagement strategy, driving revenue growth, and ensuring client satisfaction, at assigned accounts.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Head of Alliance Management, this person will join the Alliance Management team and own strategy implementation at their assigned accounts.
  • Account Management & Growth:  
    • Develop and execute strategies to drive expansion, upsell, cross-sell opportunities, and revenue growth within assigned accounts.
    • Own the land-and-expand motion at assigned accounts, interfacing with Project Management, Business Development, and delivery teams to ensure that ongoing projects are successful and new opportunities are identified.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, developing  and maintaining strong relationships with scientific and business stakeholders
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Collaborate with the Head of Alliance Management and extended leadership team to build company strategy and roadmap.
    • Establish lead generation strategies for each business line and identify necessary assets, materials, and resources to implement these strategies effectively.
  • Internal Collaboration & Operational Excellence:
    • Work cross-functionally with product, project management, data science, customer success, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of projects at assigned accounts
    • Track KPIs, including customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Participate in externally-facing marketing, through attendance at conferences and events, solidifying PhaseV brand recognition within assigned accounts
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify business opportunities. Gain an excellent understanding of the target market and  ideal champions within biotech and pharmaceutical organizations.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, with a strong focus on project or alliance management
  • Solid understanding of strategic account management i.e. expansion, renewals etc., with direct experience beneficial but not required.
  • Team player with a desire to drive innovation and have a positive impact on the industry.
  • Strong technical and analytical understanding. Experience with AI/ML solutions through previous roles is a plus.
  • Ability to clearly communicate with a wide range of stakeholders and translate scientific insights into actionable decisions.
  • Engaged listener, leverages input and a variety of perspectives to develop solutions

Desired Skills:

  • BS in a relevant field. MS, PhD, MD, or other relevant advanced degree a plus.
  • Background in biopharma, consulting or in similar roles at AI/ML vendors, with experience serving pharma clients.
  • Driven, self-motivated individual who is passionate about innovation in drug development.
  • Expertise in developing and delivering presentations for diverse stakeholders.
